This dolphin watching excursion starts early in the morning with pick-up from Can Picafort and transfer to the Port of Alcudia, where you will board a modern speedboat designed for small groups. There are usually two departure times, around 06:30 and 08:30, chosen to maximise the chances of spotting dolphins in their natural habitat, when the sea is calmer and marine life is more active.
The boat is led by Captain Salvador, a highly experienced local skipper who knows the Bay of Alcudia better than anyone. As we head out to sea, you will enjoy spectacular coastal views, passing iconic spots such as Coll Baix, Cap Menorca and the impressive cliffs of Cap Formentor. These early-morning moments, with soft light and calm waters, already make the journey special.
Once dolphins are located, the engines are switched off so you can observe them respectfully and without disturbance. You will have time to watch how they swim close to the boat and, on many occasions, leap out of the water. It’s a truly emotional experience, so make sure your camera is ready to capture unforgettable photos and videos.
Important: for safety reasons, children under 5 years old are not allowed on this excursion.

Amazing dolphin boat trip from Can Picafort. The pick-up was very convenient and the captain found dolphins quickly. Watching them swim around the boat was unforgettable.
Picked up at the hotel and taken to alcudia port to get onto speedboat. Sat astride a padded seat and commenced the journey (wrap up warm, we didn't but the crew came round with blankets) great guided tour with friendly staff. Saw quite a few dolphins which came quite close to the boat. Definitely recommend

It was spectacular the sun was behind the clouds and shining through. We saw the dolphins they were mesmerising so beautiful to see them happily swimming around.

We saw so many dolphins! Boattrip at 13:00. Swimstop in a beautiful bay, surrounded by mountains. Toni told us soms nice things about the coastline, as well. Recommended!
My husband and I went on the dolphin trip yesterday. Each part of the trip was great; the boat ride out to the watch spot was exhilarating, seeing the dolphins was magical, and the stops on the way back to look at the caves and coves were mesmerising. I have been visiting the island for over 30 years, and this is the best trip I have been on. Toni was friendly, informative and funny - a 5* trip!
The tour with Toni was fantastic! We took Wednesday 7 o'clock to start. It was crazy going into the darkness with the boat. The sun went up and we had a lot of time with the beautiful dolphins. Also the way back around the caves was pretty. We enjoyed it very much!
