This Formentor ferry from Port Pollensa is a regular and direct boat service designed to offer a comfortable and efficient way to reach one of Mallorca’s most famous beaches. The crossing takes approximately 25 minutes, sailing across the calm waters of Pollensa Bay, making it suitable for families, couples and travellers of all ages.
During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic views of the northern coastline, including the impressive cliffs of the Formentor peninsula, the iconic Cap de Formentor lighthouse and the exclusive La Fortaleza estate, a well-known landmark in the area. The ferry provides a relaxed and scenic alternative to travelling by road, especially during high season when access to Formentor is restricted.
Once you arrive at Formentor Beach, you are free to organise your time as you wish. You can swim in crystal-clear waters, snorkel near the shore, sunbathe on the white pebble beach or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beach also has a restaurant and basic facilities nearby.
One of the main advantages of this service is the open return ticket, which allows you to choose the ferry back to Port Pollensa at the time that best suits your plans on the same day. This flexibility means you are not rushed and can enjoy Formentor Beach at your own pace, making it one of the most convenient and stress-free ways to visit this iconic location in Mallorca.
Formentor Ferry from Port Pollensa – Customer Reviews
Fast and convenient Formentor ferry from Port Pollensa with flexible return times and beautiful views.
Great service booked with NoFrills Excursions. Clear timetable, easy booking and a smooth ferry ride to Formentor. Would definitely use them again.
We booked the Formentor ferry from Port Pollensa online and it was the easiest way to reach Formentor Beach. The crossing was quick, the views were stunning and having a flexible return ticket made the day completely stress-free. Highly recommended if you want to avoid traffic and parking issues.
What a great trip! My wife and I ventured to Playa Formentor having never been. The trip was professionally and safely run and the boat had plenty of seating in and out of the sun. We went in October, which is near the end of the season, but the weather was fabulous and sea was calm. The only slight niggle that people need to be aware of is that the information about departure times can be confusing and is not entirely consistent between the website, the various posters and the emails received, so just double check with the helpline or booking office if unsure. Like I say, only a slight niggle and didn’t spoil anything, in fact we went to the restaurant (Stay) and had a couple of drinks while we waited for the next departure 😁 A very pleasant experience and one we shall repeat on our return next year. Thank you 🙏
Easy to book, find, and use this ferry, good value too , would recommend .
Pleasant journey with happy mannered crew👍
It’s a very handy , quick ferry. Lovely scenery on the way but nothing to do over there. However no information is given about what you’re seeing. I use a wheelchair at the moment (post surgery so I can hobble) but no help was given to lift on my wheelchair. Four grown men watched my daughters lift it up!
Super service
