This Formentor Sunset Tour offers a truly exclusive way to experience one of Mallorca’s most spectacular landscapes. We are the only excursion that focuses exclusively on enjoying Formentor at sunset in a small group, creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere that simply isn’t possible on standard daytime tours. To make the moment even more special, you’ll enjoy a glass of cava and local strawberries while watching the sun set over the Mediterranean.
The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours and is designed to make the most of the golden hour. Travelling by comfortable minibus, we head towards the dramatic Formentor Peninsula, part of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. Along the way, we follow the winding mountain road and stop at carefully selected viewpoints that offer some of the best panoramic views in Mallorca.
One of the key stops is the famous Mirador Es Colomer, where towering cliffs plunge into the sea and the light changes dramatically as sunset approaches — a perfect spot for photography. From there, we continue to the Atalaya de Albercutx watchtower, located around 380 metres above sea level. This is the highlight of the excursion, where you’ll have time to explore, take photos and relax while enjoying the sunset with cava in hand, surrounded by breathtaking 360º views of the coastline and open sea.
The experience is unhurried, scenic and carefully paced, allowing you to fully enjoy the landscape, the colours of sunset and the peaceful atmosphere that Formentor offers at this time of day.

We had Pedro for this excursion and he was an excellent guide. We loved to hear stories about the places and we had really a lot of time to enjoy the sunsets at the 2 spots (around 30 min then 1 hour). The way-back drive was a bit erratic unfortunately, but at least we arrived fast.
Wow oh wow! What an experience, it was simply a perfect way to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip as a family of four and what an adventure it was! We were collected from our apartment, which was brilliant. The guide was so kind and knowledgable. We visited the first viewing spot, before a trip to Formentor beach with its platinum sands and green mountain sides, what a bonus, before trekking up the mountain to the best viewing lot to watch the sunset complete with treats! We were then driven home. Not able to recommend No Frills enough. We have booked with them for many years and many trips and everyone was perfect. Thank you so much.

A wonderful trip and so glad we booked it. Stunning view points along the way and our guide told us interesting history about the areas we stopped at. Die Tour ging ca. 4 Stunden von Can Picafort. Der Fahrer Pedro war sehr nett und hat viel über Land, Leute und Sehenswertes erzählt. Stops am Mirador, Formentor Beach und Leuchtturm (mit Sonnenuntergang). Der Trip wird in kleiner Gruppe (Max. 8 Personen) im Transit durchgeführt. Alles top, schöner Ausflug!
This was truly a highlight of our trip. The drive itself was amazing and the stops along the were even more so. Our driver Seamus was friendly and informative. We would love to do this trip again.
