Your private guide and vehicle will collect you from the agreed meeting point and take you towards Porto Cristo, on Mallorca's east coast, where the famous Caves of Drach are located. During the journey, your guide will introduce you to Mallorca and tell you more about the island, the east coast and the caves before your visit.
Once at the Caves of Drach, you will follow the approximately 1.2-kilometre route through a remarkable underground landscape of stalactites, stalagmites and vast caverns formed over thousands of years. One of the highlights of the visit is Lake Martel, one of the world's largest underground lakes. Here you will take your seat for the traditional classical music concert, performed by musicians on boats as they cross the illuminated underground lake.
At the end of the concert, you can complete your experience with a short optional boat crossing on Lake Martel, which is included with your admission. If you prefer not to take the boat, you can continue towards the exit on foot. The complete visit inside the Caves of Drach takes approximately one hour. As visits take place at scheduled admission times, we organise the private tour around your allocated entrance to ensure everything runs smoothly.
After visiting the caves, the remaining time can be used to discover another part of the area or return directly to your accommodation or cruise ship, depending on the itinerary agreed for your group.
What can we combine with the Caves of Drach?
As the standard private tour lasts approximately 5 hours, there is normally time to complement your visit to the caves with another stop, depending on your pick-up location, interests and available time.
- One possibility is Porto Cristo, the attractive seaside town where the caves are located. You can enjoy some free time around the harbour and waterfront before continuing your tour.
- Other possibilities include a scenic stop on the east coast, visiting one of the area's beaches or viewpoints, or incorporating another attraction into your itinerary.
- For tennis fans, the Rafa Nadal Museum Xperience in Manacor can also be considered. Admission is not included and this option should be arranged in advance to allow sufficient time.
- If your tour starts in Palma, another possibility is to combine the Caves of Drach with a short introduction to Palma, depending on the available time and your agreed itinerary.

Very impressive tour! I was pleasantly surprised by the tour set up. From 24/7 response from Floris, our tour guide, and then on time arrival by both a driver and floris at our hotel. Both were very friendly, accommodating and gave luxury service. Don’t be fooled by the name “no frills” because it’s quite the opposite! The tour was fantastic and at the end Floris sent us all our pictures. You cannot beat this experience.

Definitely worth it to see the Caves of Drach. Private tour allows you to decide where you would like to spend your time. A visit to the lovely town of Porto Cristo for a drink and a spot of Tapas. Our guide Romi (Romina) very nice and good fun.

Caves of Drach tour , great half day out and we were lucky enough to get the lovely Angela again as our tour guide ( she really is a nice person) informative again and very helpful, I was at the caves 22 years ago and it’s still a great trip and when you get to the lake and they play a small concert … we’ll its very moving and romantic, we also had a quick walk down to Puerto Christo which is lovely but you need to be quick as not much time

The small group tour I booked and took to the Caves of Drach through Private Tours in Mallorca was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded my wildest expectations. For excursions not booked through the cruise line I normally have to go outside the terminal to meet my guide, but Private Tours was able to pick me up with the car right at the cruise ship exit door. The cave itself is phenomenal, but my guide Pete was a font of information of all sorts about Mallorca. We also stopped at the Rafa Nadal Academy when I noted I was a huge fan. Our driver was fantastic and despite being asked if I had all my belongings I left my glasses in the back seat. I called and emailed as soon as I realized my error and the office was in immediate contact and they had already turned found the glasses and had turned back to the ship and delivered them by hand. I cannot recommend highly enough this tour, this tour company and my guide Pete.
